Karen Gorton has been with Elders since 2008 having been in the real estate industry since 1988. In her 35+ years in Real Estate, Karen has worked her way through the roles from Receptionist, Asset Manager, Sales Agent & Director. Karen has always lived in the Clarence Valley in both rural and residential settings and has enjoyed raising her now adult children in the Valley. Karen enjoys spending her spare time outdoors caravanning and walking, and anything associated with our beautiful river system.

In reflecting on Karen’s strengths, it’s certainly the ability to co-ordinate her large team and hold strong the foundation of honesty, transparency and trust. Her leadership in the Property Management division ensures that everyday dealings are dealt with in accordance with moving legislation and that her team is well supported. Karen’s quite a humble leader however the results of her team a clear reflection of her management style.

The Elders Grafton rent roll is 100% self-generated and mainly built by referral business. The division is always growing and rarely a year would pass that Elders Grafton’s PM department haven’t bought home numerous Elders awards including #1 Nationwide for business growth. A remarkable multi-tasker and business woman, Karen is the integral glue that keeps this large business as successful as it is. Her inspiring long-term vision and genuine love for the company is a motivation to all.
